Just in case, if you aren't the admin of the server it's much better to observe the below command to fire up the server else it may create issue while saving the db via a client like python-redis.

sudo redis-server /etc/redis.conf

Hey Mark,

I switched to Wordpress to combine two blogs, one of them being the posterous blog.

I host with Rackspace in the UK costing £7/month, giving me lots of freedom that the free online one doesn't give.

I prefer this really high tech method:

Take one 'pen'
A scrap of 'paper'
write some stuff on the 'paper' with the 'pen'

then stick it to your face

I've moved away from a multi screen setup. I was surprised to move to the Air as my main machine to be honest but I like the focus of a single app full screen (and I guess I'm spoiled because when I'm at my desk i've got a 27" iMac to litter with documentation or things I need to watch) Launchpad was a surprise to me but it's an easy gesture on the magic trackpad (my fingers are too big to do it on the Air but I use launch bar there) and then a single click. As ever Apple stuff works best when you do things the Apple way and perhaps the changes with Lion have come at a time when I was changing the way I was doing things and a large degree what I am doing too.I would say live with it for a while. It's certainly not vista.

I can see the full screen apps working on a MBA, which is obviously their big money spinner. But it completely fails on a dual screen setup where by in full-screen mode, screen no. 2 goes grey. Also how many program launching mechanisms do we need? Launchpad, Dock, Finder, plus all the thirdparty ones that power-users will be using. The gestures are very good, and I'm enjoying my MagicTrackpad, but the whole experience on a desktop feels broken and sub-optimal. Not Apple-like.
